Does the options finder tell me whether I qualify?
No. It organizes possible next steps based on five answers; it does not run state-specific eligibility rules or determine whether a family member can be paid. There is no income, asset, clinical, or program-availability assessment. Confirm eligibility and requirements with the relevant program before starting paid work.
Which state edition should I choose?
Choose the state where your loved one receives care. If you coordinate care from another state, start with the care recipient’s state, not your own. Moving does not automatically transfer eligibility or benefits.
What does a $199 edition include?
A digital PDF toolkit with state-specific guidance, a pathway finder, forms, checklists, scripts, filled-in examples, hiring and payroll basics, caregiver training material, and backup-care planning. Personal support and payroll-provider service are separate purchases.
Will this guarantee I can get paid as a caregiver?
No. Eligibility, which relatives may be hired, approved hours, and pay arrangements depend on the program and the family’s circumstances. Confirm the rules with the relevant program before beginning paid work.
Do I need to buy a kit to apply for a public program?
No. The kit and support services are optional. You can contact public programs and their designated support providers directly. Luman does not sell faster approval, priority on a waitlist, or access to government benefits.
Do I need Payroll Setup or Concierge to use the kit?
No. The kit is designed for self-directed use. Setup is a separate, one-time service, and Concierge is optional monthly support. Neither service automatically includes a kit purchase.
Does Concierge process payroll or provide respite care?
Concierge helps prepare payroll information and resolve administrative questions; your payroll provider or required fiscal intermediary processes payments and its contracted tax filings. Respite support means resource research and backup-care planning, not providing a caregiver or guaranteeing coverage.
How much help comes with Concierge?
Up to 60 minutes of combined staff time per month for one household and up to two caregivers. Calls, emails, research, administrative help, and up to two payroll-cycle reviews share that same allowance. Additional work is scoped and quoted first. Unused time does not roll over.
How does the Florida + New Jersey bundle work?
It includes both complete digital editions for $299, a $99 saving versus buying each for $199. It does not include other states, transfer program eligibility, or cover multi-state payroll setup.
How do I get my kit?
After you pay, we email you a download link from kit@luman-group.com. Save the kit to your computer or phone right away. Lost your link? Email kit@luman-group.com from the address you used to buy, and we will send a new one. Free updates for 12 months go to that same email.
What should I check before purchasing?
Review the product, state, price, delivery instructions, and terms at checkout. State editions and setup are one-time purchases; Concierge is a monthly subscription. Read the applicable refund, cancellation, renewal, and service terms before paying.
